2POOD Weightlifting Belts

2POOD belts have earned almost cult status in the USA — and for good reason. In addition to being the official belt partner of USA Weightlifting, 2POOD is also the official belt of the CrossFit Games. That makes them one of the most trusted and widely used belts in both Olympic weightlifting and elite-level CrossFit®.

Whether you're hitting heavy squats, cycling cleans, or grinding through a high-volume workout, a 2POOD belt delivers the support and stability you need without limiting your movement.

What sets these belts apart from traditional lifting belts is the combination of support, comfort, and speed. Thanks to the patented WODClamp system, you can secure and adjust the belt within seconds while ensuring it stays locked in during heavy lifts. At the same time, the system significantly increases the lifespan of the velcro.

The flexible construction makes this belt ideal for functional fitness and CrossFit® workouts where you constantly transition between Olympic lifting, powerlifting, and gymnastics movements. No stiff powerlifting belt digging into your ribs — just support that moves with you.

Why choose a 2POOD belt?

• Official belt of USA Weightlifting
• Official belt of the CrossFit Games
• Used by elite Olympic weightlifters and CrossFit® athletes
• Fast-locking WODClamp system for maximum security
• Easily adjustable during workouts
• Perfect balance between support and freedom of movement
• Ideal for squats, cleans, snatches, deadlifts, and high-volume training
• Approved for official weightlifting competitions

When should you wear a lifting belt?

We recommend using a belt during heavy compound lifts such as:

• Squats
• Deadlifts
• Cleans
• Snatches
• Clean & Jerks

Most athletes use a belt from around 80% of their one-rep max, but belts are also highly beneficial during workouts with high-repetition movements under load.

A lifting belt should be worn securely above the hips and below the ribs, centered around the core for maximum bracing and stability.
